KitKat Japan Sake Masuizumi — an original Japanese version of the famous KitKat, created using Masuizumi (満寿泉) sake powder from Toyama Prefecture. Masuizumi sake is produced by the historic Masuda Shuzo brewery, founded in 1893.

Powdered sake is used to create this KitKat, giving the filling the characteristic aroma of rice wine, a smooth depth of flavour and a clean aftertaste. The sweetness of the chocolate coating and the crisp wafers soften the alcoholic notes, creating an unusual dessert-like flavour.
